Three Hope volleyball players have received honors from Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) coaches.

Seniors Deena Van Assen and Amber Hoezee, each a graduate of Jenison High School, have received All-MIAA first team recognition while sophomore Nora Slenk of Holland (Holland Christian HS) is a second team honor.

Hoezee is a first-team honoree for the second year in-a-row.

Receiving coaches' honorable mention was senior Stephanie Poll of Hamilton (Hamilton HS).

The Flying Dutch finished second in the MIAA seasonal standings and were runner-ups in the conference tournament.  The team has also received a bid to the NCAA Division III championships.
