The Hope College Concert Series will feature Pomegranates on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 8 p.m. at Lemonjello's in downtown Holland.

Admission is free with a Hope College ID, and tickets will cost $3 for the general public, payable at the door.

Pomegranates is an indie/pop/shoegaze, Cincinnati-based band, formed in 2006 and signed to Lujo records. The band has toured nationally and has released two full-length albums, "Everything is Alive" in May 2008, and "Everybody, Come Outside!" in March 2009. In a review of the group's debut album, the online music critic for canyouseethesunset.com described Pomegranates as "full of potential..." and "shar[ing] that same under-produced but charming quality that the first two Death Cab records have..."

Opening the night will be Faces of My Time, which is from Traverse City and fronted by Hope College junior Jacob Bullard.  Faces of My Time opened for Paper Route in January 2009 at the Knickerbocker Theatre.

Lemonjello's is located at 61 E. Ninth St., on Ninth Street at College Avenue.
