The Hope College men’s and women’s track & field teams claimed team and individual recognition on the 2015 United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association NCAA Division III All-Academic Teams.

Coach Kevin Cole’s Flying Dutch recorded a cumulative team grade point average of 3.47 to repeat as a USTFCCCA All-Academic honoree. They were among 170 teams honored who earned a cumulative team GPA of 3.10 or higher 

The Flying Dutchmen posted a cumulative team GPA of 3.15 to repeat as a USTFCCCA All-Academic honoree. They were among 99 men’s teams to claim the award with a cumulative team GPA of 3.10 or higher.

Individually, four Flying Dutch student-athletes made the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track & Field Team: juniors Jane Pearson of Lake City, Michigan (McBain Northern Michigan Christian) and Julia Stock of Norton Shores, Michigan (Grand Haven HS), sophomore Erin Herrmann of Wheaton, Illinois (Wheaton-Warrenville South HS), and freshman Alison Rich of Haslett, Michigan (Haslett HS).

Senior Ben Zank of Midland, Michigan (H.H. Dow HS), represented the Flying Dutchmen.

A total of 420 women from 127 institutions and 297 men from 106 teams earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors for their combined academic and athletic accomplishments.

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 and have met either of the following athletic standards:
