The Hope College Brown Bag Concert Series will continue on Friday, Nov. 4, at noon at the Holland Area Arts Council.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

Founded in 2008 and directed by Hope College piano professor Dr. Andrew (Drew) Le, Brown Bag has rapidly become one of the most popular and innovative music events in the Holland area.  Built on the premise that classical music should be accessible by all, the series presents classical art music in a setting that is completely free of pretense: performers are required to wear jeans and talk to the audience about their selections, people of all ages are encouraged to come and go as they please, and everyone is encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch and make as much or as little noise as they wish. Light beverages are also served.

The Brown Bag Concert Series will continue on Friday, Dec. 2, with its final concert of the semester, which will be held in the lobby of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts. All concerts in the series begin at noon and last one hour.

The Holland Area Arts Council is located at 150 E. Eighth St., west of Columbia Avenue.
