Eleven Hope College track & field athletes have earned all-region honors in NCAA Division III from the United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association for the 2016 outdoor season.

To be named all-region, an athlete must either be ranked in the top-5 of an individual event in the region according to final TFRRS data or be part of a top-3 relay team. 

Six members from the Flying Dutchmen were recognized, while five members from the Flying Dutch were. 

Men’s honorees included seniors Dion Goliday of Muskegon, Michigan (Oakridge HS) and Boone Marois of Traverse City, Michigan (Central HS) in the 4x100 relay, junior Matt Pelyhes of Augusta, Michigan (Gull Lake HS), junior Nicholas Salomon of Troy, Michigan (Detroit Jesuit HS) in the 800 meters, sophomore Ben Pederson of Mount Prospect, Illinois (Prospect HS) in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and freshman Justin Freeman of Holland, Michigan (West Ottawa HS) in the 4x100 relay. 

Women’s honorees included seniors Jane Pearson of Lake City, Michigan (Northern Michigan Christian HS) in the heptathlon and Julia Stock of Norton Shores, Michigan (Grand Haven HS), junior Erin Herrmann of Wheaton, Illinois (Wheaton-Warrenville South HS) in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, sophomore Rachel Satkiewicz of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan (Seaholm HS) in the 400 meters and sophomore Rachael Webb of Grand Rapids, Michigan (Grandville HS) in the 800 meters.
