Hope College’s Grant Brogan has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week for matches played through March 27.
The sophomore from East Lansing, Michigan (East Lansing HS) receives the award for the second time in his career. He also claimed a weekly award as a freshman.
Brogan totaled 11 points in three victories last week to help the Flying Dutchmen win three times and extend their win streak to a varsity-record six matches.
Brogan collected nine goals and two assists during victories against Bethany, W.V., Southwestern, Texas and Concordia Chicago.
Brogan also recorded eight ground balls on the week and caused a turnover.
Brogan went 5-of-5 on face offs and registered 18 shot attempts including 15 shots on goal for an 83.3 SOG percentage.
