Testimonials by outstanding senior students reflecting on their experiences at Hope College will be featured during the Hope College Women of Color and Senior Recognition Celebration on Wednesday, April 13, at 5:30 p.m. in the Haworth Inn and Conference Center.

The students scheduled to speak are seniors Jocabed Garduño of San Diego, California; Paulena Khorn of Holland; Anna Kremer of Zeeland; and Alexis-Simone Rivers of Indianapolis, Indiana. Also included in the evening celebration will be a senior recognition for all graduating students of color.

This event is hosted by the Hope College Office of Multicultural Education and the Dean for International and Multicultural Education.

Advance registration required by Wednesday, April 6.   Tickets, which include dinner, are free for Hope students, $7 for members of the Hope faculty and staff, and $10 for the general public, and may be purchased through the college’s Office of Multicultural Education.  The office, located on the ground floor of the college’s Martha Miller Center for Global Communication, is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and can be emailed at ome@hope.edu or called at (616) 395-7867.
