Hope College to Feature Liz Vice in Concert on Nov. 10
The Hope College Campus Ministries Concert Series will feature Liz Vice on Friday, Nov. 10, at 8 p.m. in the Dimnent Memorial Chapel.
Vice is best known for her gospel, soul, and R&B-infused music. She splits her time between being a music director at a neighborhood church in New York and touring venues and festivals around the country.
“Taking in one of her shows would be a spiritual experience,” the online blog Sonically Awkward has said.
Her debut album, “There’s a Light, is a collage of vintage soul and gospel songs that reached number six on the Billboard gospel chart and number 13 on the R&B chart. In addition to her concerts, she has also appeared on NPR’s “Mountain Stage.”
Tickets for the concert are $10 for the public, $8 for members of the college’s faculty and staff, and $5 for Hope students. Tickets are available at the ticket office in the Events and Conferences Office located downtown in the Anderson-Werkman Financial Center (100 E. Eighth St.). The office is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can be called at (616) 395-7890. Tickets are also available online.
Dimnent Memorial Chapel is located at 277 College Ave., at the corner of College Avenue and 12th Street.
