Hope College golfers Josh Gibson and Winton Munch both pick up NCAA Division III Ping All-Region recognition for the 2016-17 season.

The two are among 15 all-region honorees from the Great Lakes Region.

Munch became Hope’s first four-time, all-region golfer.

Munch shot the lowest round in two of the three MIAA qualifying rounds for the NCAA Championship.

Gibson has claimed all-region honors for the first time in his career.

He led the Flying Dutchmen with a 19-round average of 72.58 that ranked 199th in the nation.

Gibson shot a school record-tying, 6-under par 65 at Wuskowhan Players Club during the second round of the MIAA’s national qualifier. He had six rounds under par this season.
