Hope College’s Josh Gibson has been selected the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men’s Golfer of the Week for competition between September 4–10.
The junior from Grandville, Michigan (Grandville HS) is honored for the third time
in his career and the first
time this season.
Gibson claimed medalist honors at the 36-hole, one-day Aurora, Illinois Invitational last week and helped the Flying Dutchmen win the 21-team tournament by 25 strokes.
Gibson shot rounds of even-par 72 and a team-low 68 to finish in first place individually.
