Athletics
As a member of the MIAA and NCAA Division III associations, Hope College sponsors 22 varsity sports for men and women. The college is home to the 2022 NCAA Division III National Championship women’s basketball team.

Three members of the Hope College men’s indoor track & field team have claimed all-region honors from the United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association for the 2017 season.

Senior Cameron Jones of Holland, Michigan (Black River HS), senior Julian Morrison of Aurora, Illinois (Waubonsie Valley), and freshman Joshua Izenbart of Glenwood, Illinois (Homewood-Flossmoor) were recognized.

To be named All-Region, an athlete must either be ranked in the top-5 of an individual event in the region according to final TFRRS data or be part of a top-3 relay team.

Jones was selected in the 800 meters.

Morrison was chosen for the 5,000 meters.

Izenbart was honored in the high jump.
