Athletics
As a member of the MIAA and NCAA Division III associations, Hope College sponsors 22 varsity sports for men and women. The college is home to the 2022 NCAA Division III National Championship women’s basketball team.

Hope College’s two Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association champions in outdoor men’s track & field have also received All-MIAA honors for the 2017 season.

Senior Nick Salomon of Troy, Michigan (Detroit Jesuit HS) and freshman Joshua Izenbart of Glenwood, Illinois (Homewood-Flossmoor HS) are among this year’s honorees after the MIAA Field Day last week at Hope College.

Salomon earned his spot by winning the 800 meters at MIAA Field Day. This is his second All-MIAA award in outdoor track & field.

Izenbart took first in the long jump.
