The No. 21-ranked Flying Dutch will face The College of St. Scholastica, Minnesota on Thursday at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in a first-round match at a time to be announced.

The eight-team regional will run through Saturday to determine a qualifier for the NCAA Division III team championship finals in Chattanooga, Tennessee on May 22-27.

This is Hope’s sixth consecutive trip to regionals and 12th all-time.

Interim head coach Nate Price’s Flying Dutch enter postseason play with an 18-3 overall record. St. Scholastica, a Pool B bid from the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference, is 18-5 overall.

The Hope-St. Scholastica winner will face in Friday’s regional semifinals either No. 27 Wisconsin-Whitewater (19-7) or Northwestern-St. Paul (23-5).

The other side of the bracket pits in the first round John Carroll, Ohio (16-9) vs. Concordia-Wisconsin (16-10. The winner meets No. 11 Washington-St.. Louis (12-10) in the regional semifinals.

Friday’s winners will square off on Saturday.

The national field includes 49 teams tournament. Automatic qualification (AQ) is granted to 38 conference champions, which form "Pool A." Two teams were selected from true independents and schools from conferences that do not have an automatic bid for their champions (Pool B). The remaining nine teams are selected from those teams in conferences with automatic bids that did not win their conference's AQ and the remaining Pool B institutions (Pool C). The teams are geographically paired, whenever possible.
