The Hope College Concert Series will feature the husband-and-wife duo Gungor on Friday, Sept. 22, at 8 p.m. in Dimnent Memorial Chapel.
Gungor’s work has received several Grammy and Dove Award nominations. In concert, Lisa and Michael Gungor use a range of instruments to share their original work.
Originally from Wisconsin and now living in Colorado, Michael served as worship pastor at Resurrection Life Church in Grandville for nearly five years and began producing his albums while working there in 2002. Lisa and Michael host the podcast “The Liturgists,” which they created in 2014.
Individual tickets for the concert are $20 for regular admission, $15 for Hope faculty and staff, and $8 for Hope students. Groups of 15 or more community members may purchase tickets for $15 per person. Tickets are available online at hope.edu/tickets as well as at the ticket office in the Events and Conferences Office located downtown in the Anderson-Werkman Financial Center (100 E. Eighth St.). The ticket office is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can be called at (616) 395-7890.
