Japanese House

The Hope College Concert Series will feature The Japanese House on Friday, Dec. 7, at 8 p.m. at the Park Theatre.

The Japanese House, also known as Amber Bain, is an indie pop artist from Buckinghamshire, England.  She has worked closely with British band The 1975 and went on her first tour as an opening act for them. Since then, The Japanese House has been working on a debut album, “Good at Falling,” which is set for release in 2019. She has released four EPs:  “Pools to Bathe In,” “Clean,” “Swim Against the Tide” and “Saw You in a Dream.” She has performed around Europe and the U.S.

The Japanese House also appeared on the series in 2017.

Tickets are $15 for regular admission and $7 for students 18 and under. Tickets are available online at hope.edu/tickets as well as at the ticket office in the Events and Conferences Office located downtown in the Anderson-Werkman Financial Center (100 E. Eighth St.). The ticket office is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can be called at 616-395-7890.

Park Theatre is located at 248 S. River Ave., across from Centennial Park between 10th and 11th streets.
