Rocco Mularoni Named Honorable Mention All-Region

Hope College’s Rocco Mularoni has earned honorable mention all-region honors from the Intercollegiate Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association for the 2018 season.

The sophomore forward from Hartland, Michigan (Detroit Catholic Central HS) is one of nine forwards recognized from the West region and one of three honorable-mention selections.

Mularoni recorded a career-high 53 goals and 22 assists this season while leading the Flying Dutchmen to their first Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association regular-season title and a 15-2 overall record. The 15 wins is the most in the team’s varsity history.

The 53 goals and 75 points are both the second-most ever by a Hope men’s lacrosse student-athlete in a single varsity season.

The 22 assists are tied for the fifth-most by a Flying Dutchmen student-athlete in a varsity season.
