Hope College’s Brian Simonich has been selected the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men’s Diver of the Week for competition during January 22-28.
The junior from Highland, Michigan (Milford HS) is recognized for his first-place
performances in 1- and 3-meter diving during a dual meet win at Alma on Saturday.
Simonich recorded a season-high, six-dive score of 314.45 points on the 3-meter board.
On the 1-meter board, Simonich posted a winning, six-dive total of 272.60 points.
This is the first time Simonich has been named MIAA Diver of the Week.
