Athletics

Hope College’s Chloe Palajac has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women’s Swimmer of the Week for meets through January 6.

The senior from Dearborn, Michigan (Dearborn HS) is recognized for her performances during Saturday’s 143-85 victory against visiting Kalamazoo College.

Palajac was part of the three winning efforts for the Flying Dutch.

Palajac swam the third leg of the 200-yard medley that opened the meet with a top time of 1 minute, 51.52 seconds.

Palajac recorded the fastest time in the 200 individual medley at 2:12.55.

Palajac won the 100 butterfly in 58.47 seconds.
