Megan Bigelow Named MIAA Offensive Player Of The Week
Hope College midfielder Megan Bigelow has been selected the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week in women’s soccer.
The junior from Flushing, Michigan (Flushing HS) has claimed the honor for the first time this season and the second time in her career.
Bigelow scored twice last week and helped the 15th-ranked Flying Dutch defeat Capital University (Ohio) 3-1 and tie third-ranked University of Chicago 1-1 on the road.
Bigelow’s goals closed the scoring against Capital. It was her first multi-goal game.
