Hope College’s Megan Klintworth has been selected the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women’s Golfer of the Week.

The senior from Jackson, Michigan (Hanover-Horton HS) is receiving the honor for the fifth time in her career and the second time this school year.

Klintworth fired a 5-over-par 77 during a four-team tournament at Prairie Landing Golf Course in West Chicago, Illinois, on Friday. The field that included Calvin, Wheaton (Illinois) and host North Central braved wet and cold playing conditions.

Klintworth’s round was the lowest among golfers competing.
