Men’s Soccer’s Isaac Braak Named First-Team All-Region

Hope College men’s soccer player Isaac Braak has received first-team, All-Central Region honors from the United Soccer Coaches.

The junior from Grand Haven, Michigan (Grand Haven HS) is one of four midfielders on the first team. Four forwards, three defenders, one goalie also were selected.

Braak helped the Flying Dutchmen double their win total from last season, going 14-3-1 overall.

He topped the Flying Dutchmen with seven assists. He also scored five goals.

Both goal and assist totals are career highs.

Earlier, Braak was named to the All-MIAA First Team. He tied for second on the team in MIAA scoring with 10 points. He recorded three goals and a team-high four assists during league matches.
