During the 2018 season, Jones set five single-season school records while helping the Flying Dutch win the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Tournament and advance to the Super Regional round of the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Jones established new top marks by a Flying Dutch student-athlete in wins with 21, strikeouts with 242, innings pitched with 173 ⅔, appearances with 26, and complete games with 23.

Jones also threw the second-most shutouts with nine. She trailed only her 2017 record of 11.
