Athletics
As a member of the MIAA and NCAA Division III associations, Hope College sponsors 22 varsity sports for men and women. The college is home to the 2022 NCAA Division III National Championship women’s basketball team.

Hope College will present a Faculty Quintet Recital on Monday, March 4, at 7:30 p.m. in the John and Dede Howard Recital Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

Faculty members Gabe Southard, flute, Sarah Southard, oboe, Joel Schekman, clarinet, Hannah Reilly, bassoon, and Greg Bassett, horn will be playing a variety of works. The program will feature “Overture to La Forza del Destino,” by Guiseppe Verdi; “Lincolnshire Posy,” by Percy Granger; “Scherzo, Op. 48,” by Eugene Bozza; and “Kleine Kammermusik for Woodwind Quintet,” by Paul Hindemith.

The Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts is located at 221 Columbia Ave., between Ninth and 10th streets.
