Three Hope College men’s golfers have claimed NCAA Division III PING All-Region honors: Josh Gibson, Andrew Goble and Daniel Settecerri.

They were among 15 golfers selected in the Great Lakes Region and 98 overall across the country.

Gibson is all-region for the third time. The senior from Grandville, Michigan (Grandville HS) led the MIAA champion Flying Dutchmen with a 70.85 scoring average ver 20 rounds. He was MIAA MVP last fall for the third consecutive season.

Settecerri is all-region for the second time. The junior from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan (Bloomfield Hills) finished second on Hope in scoring average this season at 73.55.

Goble is a first-time, all-region selection. The senior from Brighton, Michigan (Brighton) was third on the Flying Dutchmen with a 74.75 scoring average.

“To have three players on all-region speaks to the depth of his team. I’m happy for all of them,” head coach Scott Lokers said. “That’s quite an achievement for Josh. It speaks to his consistency. Andrew is so tenacious and positive. Daniel finds a way to make the most of what he has going that day.”
