Hope College’s Amanda Bandrowski has been chosen as the Universal Tennis Rating Intercollegiate Tennis Association NCAA Division III Women’s Tennis Player of the Week.

The senior from Traverse City, Michigan (St. Francis HS) is honored after winning two singles matches and one doubles match against nationally ranked opponents last week.

On Saturday, Bandrowski topped fourth-ranked Lauren Park of the University of Chicago, 6-4, 6-0.

Bandrowski entered the week ranked No. 42 among Division III women’s singles players.

On Friday, Bandrowski beat Savannah Bright of Case Western Reserve University (Ohio), 7-5, 6-4.

Bandrowski also teamed with Claire Hallock for an 8-3 victory at No. 1 doubles against Case Western Reserve.

With 84 career singles wins, Bandrowski needs four wins to become the Flying Dutch’s all-time leader.
