Hope College’s Seth Costello has been selected as the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men’s Swimmer of the Week.
The senior from Williamston, Michigan (Williamston HS) is being recognized for the
first time in his career.
Costello is honored after helping the Flying Dutchmen place second at the Michigan
Illinois Quad on Saturday.
He won the 200-yard backstroke at Holland Community Aquatic Center with a time of
2 minutes, 4.27 seconds. He finished 0.72 of a second ahead of Kalamazoo College’s
Ty Sakalys-Moore.
