Nick Hoffman Selected as the MIAA Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week

Hope College’s Nick Hoffman has been chosen as the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.

The senior from Holland, Michigan (Holland HS) is claiming the honor for the third time in his career and for the first time this season.

Hoffman clocked a school-record time in the 1-mile run of 4 minutes, 12.19 seconds on Grand Valley State University’s oversized track on Saturday at the Mike Lints Alumni Meet.

The public accounting major finished third in the event that primarily featured NCAA Division II runners.

Hoffman surpassed his previous Hope men’s indoor record of 4:12.57 from the 2021 season.
