Academics Sheyann Webb-Christburg, the “Smallest Freedom Fighter,” to Present Annual Civil Rights Lecture at Hope on Jan. 16
This year’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Civil Rights Lecture at Hope College will feature a speaker who’s known as one of the youngest activists during the Civil Rights Movement in Selma, Alabama, in the 1960s, and was named by the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as the “Smallest Freedom Fighter.”

Campus Life Text Of 2022 Baccalaureate Address
Do you know what a proverb is? A proverb is a saying or a phrase that challenges you to do something or to live a certain way. In the Bible, there is an entire book comprised of just proverbs which, is appropriately entitled, The Book of Proverbs. It is located in a section of the Bible known as The Writings or The Wisdom Literature. And it consists of 31 chapters, 915 verses containing more than 500 proverbs.
