Sara Wachter-Boettcher, who is author of the acclaimed book “Technically Wrong: Sexist Apps, Biased Algorithms and Other Threats of Toxic Tech,” will present the address “Inclusive Design, Ethical Tech and All of Us” on Tuesday, April 2, at 4 p.m. at Hope College in Winants Auditorium of Graves Hall.
Dr. Valerie Taylor of Argonne National Laboratory will deliver two addresses about high-performance computing while at Hope College on Wednesday and Thursday, March 6 and 7, through the college’s Gentile Interdisciplinary Lecture series in the natural and applied sciences.
