Linked are three slides showing the data from 2002 to present for first-year students on the three diversity-relevant NSSE items. We’ve shown improvement over time in the extent to which first-years have had contact with people of different races or ethnicities. We’ve also seen improvement in first-years’ perception of the extent to which Hope values these diverse interactions. We have not seen improvement over time in the extent to which first-years have had contact with people of different religious or political diversity.
