Jamie Dewitt started in the Financial Aid Office at Hope in 1992 and transferred to the Department of Kinesiology as the athletic recruiting secretary and compliance in 1999.

Her primary responsibilities include assisting head coaches in recruiting for 20 intercollegiate sports, supervising 10–12 student receptionists for the department office, certifying eligibility for all 20 intercollegiate sports with the MIAA and NCAA and processing secondary insurance claims for student-athletes.

Professional Experience

Prior to Hope, Jamie worked for Bank One Financial services as a loan officer for three years.

Why I Love Hope

Jamie truly enjoys working with Hope College students and prospective student-athletes. She has been on numerous immersion trips and cherishes the life-long relationships started as part of these experiences.

Outside the College

Jamie mentors several current students and also hosts the first women's basketball team dinner each year.
