Leah Dykstra worked full time for the Hope College Admissions Office for eight years before moving to Chicagoland. She returned in November 2022 and is an associate director, splitting time between Holland and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has been in higher education for the balance of her career working at three other collegiate institutions.

Why I love Hope

Leah loves the people of Hope — a community of people committed to walking alongside students to ensure they leave Hope College equipped to be difference makers all over the globe. And you can’t beat the Holland community either — an amazing town-gown relationship that is second to none.

Outside the College

Leah is married to Kurt Dykstra and has two grown daughters. She enjoys time at the lake in Holland, reading, running, travel and serves on several volunteer boards.
