Chris Kooiker provides support for the chair and faculty of the Department of Economics and Business and for a variety of department-related programs. Before coming to Hope in 2018, Chris was the controller and office manager at a local small business. Prior to that, she worked in various administrative and financial roles for more than 20 years at Donnelly Corporation.

Chris enjoys volunteering; she has served on the Donnelly Credit Union Board of Trustees, as company chairperson at Relay for Life, as the president of the Hamilton Soccer Club and in various capacities at her church. She and her husband (a Hope alumnus) have two grown children (one of whom also graduated from Hope). She enjoys hiking, biking, skiing and playing the cello.
