Vanessa Reyes joined Hope College in 2021. She serves as Systems and Programs Administrator in the Office of the Provost, where she manages academic programs and systems, collaborates with faculty and campus partners, and supports initiatives that strengthen teaching, scholarship, and student research.

WHY DO YOU LOVE HOPE?

Hope has been a meaningful part of Vanessa’s journey for many years. As a student, she participated in the college’s CASA and TRIO Upward Bound programs, experiences that inspired her to attend Hope and ultimately begin her career at the college. Vanessa believes it’s the people and strong sense of community that make Hope such a special place, and she enjoys contributing to that community through her work in academic administration.

OUTSIDE THE COLLEGE

Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys reading books, photography, and cheering on her favorite sports teams—the San Antonio Spurs, Texas Longhorns, and Dallas Cowboys. She lives by the saying, “Good, better, best. Never let it rest till your good is better and your better is best.”
