This is Jennifer’s first year as interim chaplain of discipleship, and she is excited to be a part of the Hope community and the Campus Ministries team. Her main responsibilities will be to minister to students through pastoral care, faith formation and discipleship, and chapel leadership. Why I love Hope
Jennifer’s husband has been teaching at Hope for over 20 years, so she’s known for a long time that Hope is a special place. She loves the college life and is eager to walk with and encourage students during this formative time, so that we may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Rom. 15:13). Her door is always open and the coffee is on!
Outside the College
Jennifer is married to David, professor of political science. They have three children and two foster children — Emmanuel (20), David (17), Theodore (15), Lillian (13), and Ruth (11). When Jennifer is not shuttling kids around or fixing a meal or doing the dishes, she loves to walk/run/bike, go to garage sales and watch Hallmark movies on YouTube.
