Jill Whitcomb
InvestigatorJill started her role as an investigator for Equity and Compliance/Title IX in the fall of 2017. Her primary responsibility is to investigate any allegations made involving complaints of discrimination that are based upon sex in an educational environment. She further sees her role as a resource to students who are involved in many criminal justice related events and situations.

Professional Experience
Prior to Hope College, Jill had spent 24 years in a law enforcement career for the City of Wyoming, Kent County, Michigan. While working for Wyoming PD she found investigations to be the most rewarding assignment. In this assignment she worked cases that involved sexual assault, domestic violence and stalking. This work led her to become a law enforcement trainer for the State of Michigan. She continues to train officers on conducting through investigations involving sexual assault.
Outside the College
Jill enjoys spending time with her family at their cottage. She also enjoys playing tennis and bike riding with her daughter.
