The Hope College Concert Series will feature Ra Ra Riot with special guest Michigander on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 8 p.m., in Dimnent Memorial Chapel.

New York’s Ra Ra Riot burst onto the indie music scene nearly 10 years ago with an orchestral pop sound. The ensemble includes Wes Miles, vocals; Milo Bonacci, guitar; Alexandra Lawn, cello; Mathieu Santos, bass; and Rebecca Zeller, violin, who met and formed the band in college and have since relocated to New York City.

Their last album was electro-pop and their latest release, “Need Your Light,” gets back to their house party roots without abandoning more abstract soundscapes.

Tickets for the concert are $25 in advance and $30 the day of the show for the general public, $10 for Hope students, and $20 for members of the college’s faculty and staff, and are available at the ticket office in the Events and Conferences Office located downtown in the Anderson-Werkman Financial Center (100 E. Eighth St.). The office is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can be called at (616) 395-7890.  Tickets are also available online.

Dimnent Memorial Chapel is located at 277 College Ave., at the corner of College Avenue and 12th Street.
