The What Is Noise new-music chamber ensemble will perform a concert at Hope College on Wednesday, March 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the John and Dede Howard Recital Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.

The public is invited.  Admission is free.

The award-winning ensemble, which will also be working with students while on campus, has been described by composer Joshua William Mills as “precise, expressive and convincing.”

What Is Noise has performed throughout the United States.  The ensemble made its Carnegie Hall debut in May of 2014 as part of its “American Stories” concert tour that included performances in Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and New York.

The Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts is located at 221 Columbia Ave., between Ninth and 10th streets.
