The Big Read Holland Area’s keynote address scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 9, is being postponed because author Julie Otsuka had to cancel due to unexpected health reasons.

The organizers are working with her to find another date to have her speak, and updated information will be shared when available. In the meantime, the other events taking place this month in conjunction with the Big Read Holland Area’s exploration of her book “When the Emperor Was Divine” are continuing as scheduled.
