The Hope College Concert Band will perform on Thursday, April 20, at 7:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

The program will include a wide variety of works, by composers including Johann Sebastian Bach, Johannes Brahms, Mark Camphouse, Clare Grundman, Howard Hanson, Boris Kozhevnikov, Dmitri Shostakovich, Hugh Stuart and Frank Ticheli.

The Concert Band consists of Hope students, alumni and community members from the Holland and Zeeland area.  The concert will also showcase a number of student conductors from the music-education program, including Katie Baldwin, Katherine Beaudoin, Genevieve DeHart, Claire Dickson, Hannah Dirkse, Hilary Hunsberger, Emily Ledford and Taylor Mills.

The Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts is located at 221 Columbia Ave., between Ninth and 10th streets.
