The annual Hope College senior art exhibition, “Studio 147,” will open with a reception in the De Pree Art Center and Gallery on Friday, April 7, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The public is invited to both the exhibition and the reception. Admission is free.

The exhibition will feature work by graduating studio art, art education and art history majors: Peter Anderson, Emily Branca, Xiao yu Fang, Darwin Guillen, Kate Kooiker, Olivia Lauritsen and Joy Rhine. Included within this exhibition are pieces that vary in medium, including, but not limited to, ceramics, graphic design, mixed media installations, photography and sculpture. The capstone essay for art history, will also be on display.  The exhibition will continue through Sunday, May 7.

The De Pree Art Center and Gallery is located at 275 Columbia Ave., between 10th and 13th streets.  The gallery is open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
