The De Pree Art Center and Gallery at Hope College will feature work by 10 graduating studio art majors in the college’s annual Senior Art Exhibition from Friday, April 19, through Friday, May 3.

The exhibition, “See What Sticks,” will open with artist talks on Friday, April 19, at 4 p.m. in Cook Auditorium of the De Pree Art Center, with a catered reception following in the gallery until 7 p.m.

The public is invited to the artist talks, reception and exhibition.  Admission is free.

The exhibition will feature work by Rachel Douma, Lili Fraser-Shade, Isabelle Jaeggin, Jo Locke, Natasha Marsh, Gabrielle Nelson, Sarah O’Neil, Lucy Pietryga, Stephanie Somjak and Hannah Grace Dahl Swanson. The exhibition explores and challenges a wide range of media including photography, painting, video, lithography, installation, sculpture, ceramic, screen printing and collage.

The De Pree Gallery is open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Those without a Hope College ID, which is necessary to gain access through the front door, should call the Department of Art and Art History at 616-395-7500 to gain entry.
