The Hope College Chapel Choir and the Eastern Michigan University Choir will perform a joint concert on Monday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.

The public is invited.  Admission is free.

Each choir will perform individually, combining for the final piece, “Ev’ry Time I Feel the Spirit,” arranged by Moses Hogan.

The Chapel Choir will perform a set titled “Songs of the Earth.” The program explores nature-related music and poetry which speaks to the human experience. The choir, founded in 1938, is an advanced ensemble that seeks to study advanced choral repertoire and is open to all students by audition.

The Eastern Michigan University Choir is a highly selected auditioned ensemble comprised of students from across the university, most of whom are music majors whose principal area is voice study.
