Linda Koetje
Office ManagerLinda Koetje is the office manager for the Department of Communication. She came to Hope College in 1994, working part-time as an office assistant in the Department of Economics and Business. After a couple of years, she accepted a full-time position as the receptionist for Counseling and Psychological Services before moving to her current job in 2000.
Why I love Hope
Linda loves Hope because of the people she works with, the students Hope serves and the supportive work environment.
Outside the college
Linda dabbles in a lot of hobbies, including sewing, quilting, knitting, jewelry-making and cooking. She especially loves experimenting with new recipes. Her family and friends know to expect at least one new dish every time they come to dinner. She also enjoys reading, walking/hiking/running, camping, singing (soprano) in her church's choir and spending time with her husband, kids and grandkids.
When Linda started working for Hope, her youngest was in kindergarten. She grew up visiting her mom at work, swimming at the Dow Center and going to Hope basketball games. Linda is proud of her for graduating from Hope a few years ago with a degree in mathematics education.
