Library Classroom Policy
Van Wylen Library’s two classrooms, the Granberg Room (222) and the Library Teaching Lab (202) are available for use by classes and other groups.
The exception is during September and the first week of October, when both rooms are held for our librarians’ busiest season of instruction. Same-day reservations can be made via “Quick Reserve” tablets outside of each room. All other reservations must be requested through EMS and approved by the library. For non-library staff, no more than three recurring events are permitted. Under most circumstances, these rooms are unavailable for semester long courses during Fall and Spring Semester. The library will consider room requests for May–July Term courses on a case-by-case basis after considering other needs for those spaces during the summer.
