Students in the Hope College Opera Workshop will be giving a performance on Monday, April 10, at 8 p.m. in Dimnent Memorial Chapel.

          The public is invited.  Admission is free.
          The performance features students Meredith Arwady,
  Jill Bennink, Rebecca DeVries, Seth Gardner, Patricia Rhiew
  and Joy Eisenga.  The works being performed are the second
  tableau from "Dialogues des Carmelites," by Poulenc; the
  Papageno-Papagena duet from the finale of Act II of "Die
  Zauberflote" by Mozart; and scenes 1 and 2 from Act II of
  "Cosi fan tutte" by Mozart.
          Rebecca DeVries will also be in costume as a
  result of her class in costume design.
          The performance will last approximately 45
  minutes, and all selections will be performed in English.
  Dr. Margaret Kennedy-Dygas, who is Opera Workshop director
  and a professor of music at Hope, provides the narration for
  the performance.
