Poet Thea Monyee will present a reading at Hope College on Thursday, Jan. 8, at 7 p.m. in the DeWitt Center Kletz.
The public is invited. Admission is free.
Monyee has appeared on HBO's "Def Poetry Jam" and BET's "The Way We Do It." Her live performances have included 100.3's "The Beat in Los Angeles"; HBO's "Light as a Feather Fashion Show"; and Isaac Hayes's "Downtown Comedy," at his restaurant in Chicago, Ill.
