The Hope College Children's Miracle Network Dance Marathon will present a "Giving Hope to Kids" auction on Saturday, Jan. 24, in the Maas Center auditorium to benefit the children and families of DeVos Children's Hospital.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

The auction will include hors d'oeuvres at 6:30 p.m. with bidding beginning at 7 p.m. A few examples of items at the auction include: a deluxe foosball table and K2 skis from Reliable Sports, a King lounger from FizzLiving, a print by artist Joel Tanis and miniature wooden shoes painted by children served by the hospital.

Organized by Hope students, Dance Marathon is held to raise money and awareness for children treated by DeVos Children's Hospital. Following fund-raising efforts throughout the school year, the event culminates with a 24-hour dance marathon, scheduled this year for Friday and Saturday, March 5-6, from 7 p.m. to 7 p.m. Each year, hundreds of Hope students, as well as members of the college's faculty and staff, participate.
