The Hope College Wind Symphony's final concert of the academic year will feature collaboration with area handbell choirs on Wednesday, April 21, at 8 p.m. in Dimnent Memorial Chapel.
The public is invited. Admission is free.
Handbell performers from Hope Church, First United Methodist Church, First Reformed Church and the Zeeland Community Handbell Choir will join the Hope College Wind Symphony for the conclusion of Percy Grainger's monumental "Lincolnshire Posy."
The Zeeland Handbell Choir will also perform selections as pre-program music. Other music on the program includes a fanfare by Jack Stamp; an arrangement of "The Valley of the Bells" by Maurice Ravel; and "Do the Hustle," a new piece written for the Cleveland Chamber Orchestra that will feature clarinetist Kristin Ward of the Hope faculty.
Dimnent Memorial Chapel is located on College Avenue at 12th Street.
