The internationally acclaimed Minneapolis Guitar Quartet will perform at Hope College on Thursday, Oct. 27, at 7:30 p.m. at the Knickerbocker Theatre.

One of the world's leading guitar ensembles, the Minneapolis Guitar Quartet plays a wide repertoire ranging from Renaissance and Baroque to Spanish, Latin American, and Romantic.

"The Minneapolis Guitar Quartet has cemented its stature as one of the guitar world's foremost ensembles," "Soundboard Magazine" has said. "The ensemble playing is impeccable."

The Minneapolis Guitar Quartet has been heard on the nationally syndicated "Saint Paul Sunday," and on National Public Radio's "Performance Today."

"Classical Guitar Magazine" has called the quartet "Flawless, musical, and witty."

The quartet has released three critically acclaimed recordings. The group has toured extensively throughout the United States and made concerto appearances with the Minneapolis Orchestra, DuPage Symphony Orchestra, Northwood Orchestra, Iowa Arts Festival Orchestra, and the UCLA Orchestra.
